Explore shibori in 2014. I wrote that in my goals last January. This week five silk scarves became a series, as part of that exploration. I stitched in designs.
I pulled up the stitches and tied them tight.
Black dye and then the big reveal. Now for input from viewers and readers: is this the finish point or do I add color?
I love the black and white … and I see potential for waking up the designs with unexpected spots of vibrant color. Why not do some of both?!
Some of both is a good option. I will wait for my responses.
These are beautiful as they are but I say Go for it! You can always stop if you change your mind.
